Process Improvement for Emerging Company in Stored Value Space

On-Site Financial’s client was an emerging company that provided a combination of outsourced technology services, transaction processing services, and a customized client marketing portal to help some of the leading retailers in the U.S. access the wealth of customer data captured.

As the CEO states, "We had done a fine job setting up and running the financials in a pure start-up mode. However, as we got traction in the business, we recognized the value of improved structure and oversight.” On-Site Financial came to the rescue with an upgraded accounting system configuration to facilitate significant growth and enhanced reporting. “On-Site Financial has provided us with accounting expertise and armed me with the financial tools necessary to run the business effectively."

Successful CFO Search for International Non-Profit

Serving more than 71,000 people, employing over 700 staff, and involving over 4,000 volunteers, this non-profit needed a business savvy CFO to manage their rapid growth and increasing organizational complexity. Yet functional skills and experience were only part of the perfect candidate profile; an alignment with the core-values and the culture of the organization was critical.

On-Site Financial developed a highly tailored recruitment and candidate selection process requiring substantial involvement from both their business development and recruiting team members to ensure finding a great fit for the client’s unique needs. On-Site’s team performed an array of services including helping with the position description, writing advertising copy, and of course conducting an extensive outbound search for the perfect candidate. Says the CEO, “We were comfortable turning over the recruitment process to On-Site, it was clearly something that they did very well. All 3 candidates presented were outstanding! In retrospect, there was a clear cost/benefit to engaging On-Site Financial and we plan to use them again.”

On-Site Financial Serves Consumer Goods Manufacturer from Start-Up through Acquisition by Fortune 500 Company

The story as told by the client CEO: “We began using On-Site Financial as an early-stage emerging business to set-up our accounting systems and procedures - getting started ‘right’ was so important to our future success. In addition to On-Site Financial’s ability to set things up properly, they provided Controller-services while mentoring our staff along the way. This allowed our staff to absorb responsibilities for functions we choose to maintain in-house, but leveraged our access to the expert resources of On-Site Financial. As we grew and needed to upgrade our Inventory control system, On-Site Financial was there with the talent to handle the conversion and implement a system used for many years.

In our sale to an industry leading Fortune 500 company, On-Site Financial provided support services for the preparation of reports and records necessary to establish a valuation and execute the transaction, including interfacing with the acquirer on our behalf. After 4 years of post acquisition growth, we required a more sophisticated manufacturing system and the personnel to manage higher volume and more elaborate operational processes.
